Open Apology

This blog is dedicated to my baby Lyric (on the right). So I get the bright idea, or maybe not so bright idea, to get another dog. I know what you're thinking... for who, for what, when, and why? Well, the reason why I even entertained the idea is because some of my friends and family members wanted to breed their dog, considering mine is fixed. Plus someone I know, had a family member that wanted to give the dog away... free. So I'm thinking, 'a pure bred dog, for free, I'm all over it'. I did ask for a pic of the dog so I could get an idea of what it looked like, however I never received it. 

So I o to get the dog today, and all of the signs were there screaming LEAVE THE DOG!!! Nonetheless, I took the dog and the echoing in my mind became more and more prevalent...

*the dog was matted

*needed its nails clipped horribly 

*had on a f'n baby pamper (who the hell puts a pamper on a dog that's not on its cycle)

*hadn't had recent shots

*too active (my dog and I both are chill, lazy in other words)

*didn't have its papers (stating it was a pure bred)

I know you're like why the hell did you take it, and I'm still kicking myself for that sh*t!!! So I'm about 10 mins. away from the woman's house on 395 like I ain't gonna be able to handle this. so I call my friend who gave me the so-called 'hookup' and tell her to tell her aunt I was bringing the dog back. She spoke with her aunt, and this heffa was like I couldn't bring the dog back and was being totally unreasonable. WTF... I'm like ok, I'll try to find some alternative methods for the dog (trying to be politically correct, before I became niggarish). To make a long story short, there were no shelters open to take in any dogs. I even rolled my window down to see if some random white woman with a dog, wanted another dog, that failed. I didn't just stop there, I went into Petco to see if anyone just wanted a free dog. As you can guess, no one did. By this time, I had an exorcist moment. I just knew my head had spun around and I turned into the other side of my Gemini sign.

I really tried to be reasonable and come up with alternative methods for the dog, considering its previous owner was being a jackas*. So I did the only thing I knew to do. I took the dog back to its previous neighborhood... let's just say the dog is no longer with me. Tomorrow I will fulfill the rest of my civic duty by dropping the dogs belongings at the Goodwill.

To my sweet, fashionable, loving dog, who's attitude and personality, which reflects mine oh so well... I AM SORRY, FOR EVEN ENTERTAINING THAT FUCKERY, LET ALONE GOING THROUGH WITH IT!!!

In the end, the lesson learned was one that I already knew... YOU PAY FOR WHAT YOU GET (no more hook-ups for me).

Must See Reality Tv

So I've definitely reached the over 25 mark, I've been tuning into The Democratic National Convention all week. I feel like I've been at an adult pep rally the entire time. I don't know if any of you all caught it yesterday, but after Hillary's speech the media took a turn for the worse. Not the media exactly, but the delegate they interviewed. The media interviewed a black woman maybe in her late 30s early 40s. The lady was very passionate about Hillary Clinton, to the point of holding back tears and a cracking voice. Now I'm all for people being passionate about their beliefs, but the fuckery which followed took the cake. The lady spoke on how she truly believed that Hillary's speech on "unity" was exactly the speech of a President. This delegate said that she wouldn't vote for McCain, but to make it simple, she hasn't made a connection to Obama. She said she saw in Hillary what her potential future could be (so much for goals). When asked if she would vote for Obama in November, she said "I may be faced with with something I don't wanna have to deal with". She was basically referring to the point that she may not vote. Can I say IGNORANT, IGNORANT, IGNORANT!!! This interview spoke on sooo many levels. The speech by Clinton was on UNITY, uniting the party, and encouraging her followers to vote for Obama. I never heard her say to not vote. The attitude of this delegate is one that the Democratic party can do without. And for her to mention slightly that "we" fought for the right to vote, meant she knows that her future actions are wrong. I believe that everyone has a right to their own opinion, but doing the right thing  should always override an opinion? Three words for the delegate GET OVER IT. Its been over 7 weeks since Barack has had the nomination, there was plenty of time for her to take hold of her emotions, instead of having a hissy fit.

 

Airports, Airlines,...Fuckery!!!

With the increasing rise of gas prices, I think its only fair to say traveling by air is cheaper in most aspects. And because of that, airlines are taking full advantage and upping the bullshit. Where does all of my animosity stem from?

A. Missing my plane to Ga. last Wednesday

B. The inconsistency of services rendered to me ( the customer)

So I missed my plane, ad I'll take the blame for that. But coming from a region where the International airport is the largest establishment of its kind, my expectations are HIGH!!! My logic is, if you're a small airport, open up more, or maybe All of the security checkpoints. This makes sense especially when the line is beginning to curve outside of the sectioned area. Wednesday in Dulles airport, I felt like cattle being herded to its final destination. On top of that I get on the wrong bus/shuttle (yes I too make mistakes), which takes you to the final terminal. I end up at gate 41 and my plane was departing from gate 66 (go figure). This aspect of transportation really aggravates the hell out of me because I'm used to the underground train system in Atl. So I had to head back home and get up at 4 am to catch a standby flight at 6:45am, which was an extra $5 charge along with a strong possibility I would not catch a plane out because everything was booked. I said a quick prayer and after 2 standby passengers, I was the third and final one let on!!!

This takes me to my next level of pisstivity from airlines and carriers... Inconsistency. I attempt to leave (from Dulles) with my largest piece of luggage in my set. everything goes well, meaning no hidden fees or charges. Upon checking my bag in Atl., some guy pulls out his measuring tape (like he was about to size me correctly for a bra) and start measuring the length of my bag. He goes on to say that my luggage is over the height requirements, which will be an extra $29.99, so you know I got an instant attitude, which totally ruins my flight home. I've heard of all of the price changes for additional bags but this height requirement which wasn't required when I left was new to me. Airports and airlines, are nickel and dime'n all across, each week something different!!!

My thing is, if you know people are going to be traveling through your establishment, have newer technology for means of transportation. Airports need to find a way to remain consistent across the board. TSA officers enforce rules differently across airports, based on my traveling experiences.
