On Tuesdays We Target... Edition II

It seems like forever since I've posted a Target Tuesday post, but trust and believe I have been there sooo many times. Today I'll be sharing a few of the cute finds that I saw at my local Target.

Such a cute shirt that can be dressed up or dressed down. Right now I'd purchase it oversized and wear it to the gym because I totally need to get my workout on.

Can you say ready for Spring? I was super excited to see my favorite colors right besides each other. Perfect dresses to wear to work or out to brunch.

There are just certain aisles that I have to visit like all of them!!! I always get my life in the candle aisle. Now my preference is Bath and Body Works but sometimes those are too strong, Targets candles provide a happy medium. Right now I'm obsessed with blood oranges so I was happy to see this scent. It was a perfect spring scent and although I didn't purchase it, I will be adding it to my future candles list. The other candle, Glacial Water Mint reminds me of my favorite Stress relief body wash. This is totally a candle that you want around you to create a in-home spa. Perfect candle to help clear your mind while taking a bubble bath.

Such a cute picture which describes me best. Have you visited Target this week and if so, what caught your eye?

On Tuesdays We Target...Edition I

One of my absolute favorite past times is walking around Target. It doesn't matter what you need or what neighborhood you're in you can almost certainly find a Target. My love for target is endless, Target was actually the first real job offered to me a few weeks before graduation (I declined but often wonder how my life would have been with that experience). I honestly visit Target a minimum of 3 times a week, it's like I'm a magnet and instantly drawn to them. I have several locations near me since I live in a metro area and always know that if I don't find something in my local Target, I can go down the road a bit and find it. I remember when Target first arrived in my hometown in Ga. it was such a magical experience. Yes I'm describing it as magical. They set us up for like a year and teased us with several commercials before actually opening up. I remember it being a one-stop shop; and with the additions of full grocery stores, they have definitely lived up to it. So you see... My love for Target is, has been, and will always be an endless magical experience whenever I step foot inside (even if that is 3 times a week, lol). Going forward this will be a reoccurring segment, showing you what actually interested me in Target and how I'm able to turn deals with target cartwheel.

Take a look at a few things I saw on my journey today:

This smelled sooo good. I'm more of a Bath and Body Works candle type of girl but I also like this brand. Please know that this will be coming home with me at a later date.

I'm honestly not sure how this didn't jump in my basket. Can you see the $2.38 price tag, that's what you call a deal.

Awesome, awesome holiday gifts for a reasonable price. There are 4 different color shemes with cute sayings which include a ring holder, photo frame, decorative tray, vase, and coasters. This would be the perfect secret Santa gift, thank me later.

I absolutely live for novelty items and I'm not sure which one is my fav but I will be picking up a few since I'll be hosting a Ugly Christmas Sweater party next month.

Being from the South I am beyond obsessed with monogrammed items. This would also be a great secret Santa gift!

I love seeing the red tags in Target because you know that's code for discounts!!! I should have grabbed the flesh colored polish but no worries, I'll be back in Friday!!!

How awesome is this coat with all of its intricate detailing. I'm in need of a winter coat but all of this cuteness doesn't justify the price nor the fact that the actual warm factor is missing. That makes me sad but hopefully I'll be able to grab it a bit later when it gets a red tag.

That's it for me. Did any of you stop in Target this week, am I missing something? Let me know what you purchased below in the comment section.

TJ Maxx, Marshalls, and Target Oh My...

The best thing about being employed again is being able to get my shop on. Now granted, I still have to do it in moderation since I’m playing catch up from last year’s layoff, but it definitely feels good to just shop!!! Recently, I’ve been doing the ‘bulk’ of my shopping at 3 places: TJ Maxx, Marshalls, and Target. What I LOVE about all three places is that they each have something for each aspect of your life. However, Target has two additional caveats with their hours and the addition of groceries. Nonetheless, all are great for your girl. TJ Maxx and Marshalls has designer items discounted so its very important for me to check them out at least once a week. Not that I purchase everytime, but I like to see what’s new and in rotation. Here are a few things that either caught my eye or hopped in my cart.

Unfortunately this didn't go home with me but I'm kicking myself that I didn't make it work (the chain was too long). I love an 'initial' or monogram anything.

With a wide selection of candles, TJ Naxx and Marshlls are my first stop when it comes to creating the perfect gift bag. My favs out of this bunch were, Fresh Shave (I may have to go back for this one since I lack a man but love their scent) and Intimate.

This was a score for me!!! I like that it has a built in surge protector and can charge 3 items simultaneously, it even has a little nook to rest your iPhone on.
Since I'm not blessed in the chest area I never have to spend a lot of money on bras. However I can definitely tell the difference between a cheap bra and one that's a bit more pricier. I was able to get this Calvin Klein (classic designer) bra for only $10. I love the color and the fit #Score
That bash reached out to me and actually made it in my cart but I have sooo many recyclable bags that I decided to leave this for another fashionista.
Last week I made my rounds at Target and was happy to see a few new pieces. Check me out below getting my fitting room fashion on!!!
This is actually a 2 piece short set and has two different tops. The top that I'm wearing would be perfect for an expecting mother!

As much as I liked the print I wasn't feeling the fabric. I also don't think that I wear both top and bottom paired together, I'd break it up.

This is actually the same print of the first outfit but on dress form. Let's just say the medium was a bit too tight. However I'm sure that after 21 days on Black Girls Workout Too I'd be able to look stunning in the freakum dress (I'm sure it'll be long gone by then). I'm pictured in the large which is...a bit large lol!

This is what should have come home with me. I see this dress perfect for any occasion; work, church, or a lunch outing.

It wouldn't be right if I went to Tarfet and didn't see something cute. I am such a big kid that lives for cute packaging. The da*m marketing will get me every time, but not this time... Wah la magic!
If I could have just had the ago alone it would have made my day lol!!!

As you can tell no matter which store; they all have something that keeps me going back (weekly). What are some of your #Fabfound items or Tarjay purchases?

A Few of My Favorite Things

Yesterday was one of my happiest days living in a new city/state. The New target that was being built when I moved 6 months ago has finally opened. Such joy this place brings to me, and to think, now there is one less than 5 minutes away!!! So you know I had to get my visit on. Even pulling up, there was sooo much to take in, the pure ambiance of it all. As I entered I was welcomed by the 'new' smell...you know the smell you get with new shoes or a new car. The smell was so strong and pleasing I wish they would have packaged it. Besides the store being brand new, it was pretty empty and felt like it was all mine. This Target even had new buggies which rolled correctly (you know you can't stand a wobbly buggie). It always amazes me how the set up of Target and Super Targets' differ. My Super Target had purses and accessories the left of the entrance, with the shoe section beside it. Everything was nice and neat, and a big selection of sunglasses lined the back wall. Now I've shopped in my share of Targets and have never seen shoes this close to the front. As I walked from department to department, there were friendly red-shirt staffers' to greet me and ask if I needed assistance. The only thing I can say bad about 'My Super Target' is, it was so new, there were no dollar sections or sales in clothing. Do you know what this opening means for me? I have first dibs at new designers and new releases!!!Overall a post can not explain the sheer excitement I felt on this day but I'll keep you informed on my adventures to 'my store'.
