Sneak Preview- Saks off Fifth Edition

The best thing about not having traditional 9-5 hours is the fact that I can attend events at various hours. I was super ecstatic when I saw Deb's e-mail in regard to Saks Off Fifth relocating in Potomac Mills Mall. This was however, my first time attending an early morning fashion showcase, but it was totally worth it. I was welcomed by the lovely Saks staff as well as management from Potomac Mills. I always get stoked to see my blogger press pass.

The new location near Ralph Lauren was great. This Off Fifth template will serve as the model for future stores to come, and is the 2nd largest in the country. This particular venue has around 22,000 square feet of bright open space. I honestly felt like I could go around admiring the fixtures as if I were a host on HGTV.

This Off Fifth location offers designers such as St. John, Alice and Olivia, Tory Burch, Louboutin (yes you read right), Gucci, and much more. My favorite thing about Off Fifth is the fact that they offer size 5 1/2 shoes, however, I did find out that this location doesn't carry plus size clothing any longer. The manager did state that St. John has vanity sizes which extend to size 16, but come Off Fifth you have to bring back plus sized options for our full figured divas. All in all it was such a treat to be one of the first customers to shop at this particular Off Fifth. If you are in the DMV please be sure to check out Saks Off Fifth in Potomac Mills mall, this weekend they are having a few specials:
*Gift with purchase for first 500 customers
*Text to win $1000 shopping spree
*30% off Designer wear until next Tuesday

Take a look and see all of the deals.

Weekends Were Made...to chill

There was sooo much going on this weekend and I did none of it. You ever have a weekend where you just don't feel like doing anything? Well this weekend was that for me. I guess it could have something to do with the fact that I went out during the week on a Tuesday and completely drank too much, but that's another story.

Instead of being social, I spent most of my weekend at home; with the exception of hitting a few malls, Ross, and Marshall's. I took a little break to have some more 'me time' as if all my time isn't me time I got a cute pedi. I even got a chance to catch up on my hobby, thrifting. Was your weekend eventful or did you just chill like me?
