Love Never Fails!!!

I've said before and I'll say it again; I love, love. Although this year I don't have a boo (lol), I was still determined to have a great Valentine's Day and that I did. I have no doubt that love will find me, but at the same time I'm not in a huge rush.  I got a bit of a late start today so I was unable to pick me up some tulips but you better believe I will get some before the weekend is out!!! I spent the latter part of the day with a friend enjoying mani's and Pedi's and light, very light shopping lol. I decided to put the picture above so that we all remember exactly what love is, in spite of the teddy bears, chocolates, and flowers. How did you enjoy your Valentine's Day?

Missing You...

7 years ago today I lost my mom in a car accident and at the same time, loss a piece of me. Words can never explain the amount of hurt, anger, and grief you feel losing a parent; especially at such a young age. There isn't one day that goes by that I don't miss her, long to see her face and hear her voice. I always thought that at the age of 30 we'd be able to have some sort of friendship so to speak. All I have are the memories and pictures that I hold on to dearly. Luckily for me I have always had very vivid dreams and my mom comes to see me at just the right time. The dreams are sooo distinct and I feel as if she's with me because we always speak of what's happening currently. They honestly give me peace and solace. If I could be granted one wish, it would definitely be to go back in time and relive a few moments with my mom. From a Christian point of view, my dreams remind me that He will never leave me nor forsake me.

If I Was Your Boyfriend...

As we near Valentine's Day, I am still on the hunt for the perfect boyfriend. I don't I'll ever find that, so let's just say I'm on the hunt for the perfect pair of boyfriend jeans. On two separate occasions, I tried on Old Navy's version of boyfriend jeans; after the initial fit I thought I'd found the perfect pair. It wasn't until the next visit that I realized they had more of a boxy fit around the waist and not the actual lean, slightly baggy look. However, I did like the fact that Old Navy offered about 5 different washes available. But somehow, the Old Navy BF jeans remind me of ole school capris.

Although I should be shop less in Virginia, I just had to go to the mall (for concealer) and why not stop in H&M. As soon as I walked in, I saw boyfriend jeans on display as if they new I were coming in for them. I tried them on and lo and behold a perfect fit. I mean they looked great on me. Since I'm ballin on a nonexistent budget, I passed them buy. But I definitely have to go get them soon, and the fact that there's a 30% off coupon right now make them alluring.

I have one more trick up my sleeve in order to find the perfect pair of jeans and that's SalVal (aka Salvation Army). I think that on Wednesday, which is also discount day I'm going to look for a pair of jeans that I can turn into boyfriend jeans.

Since I am still on the hunt for the perfect pair of Boyfriend Jeans let me know where you found your perfect mate.
